Rate is one of the top five retail mortgage lenders in the United States, helping homeowners navigate one of life’s most significant investments. As part of its continued growth, Rate sought to modernize its brand and digital presence to align with its leadership in the mortgage industry.

Brought on board to lead the design transformation, I worked closely with leadership to revamp Rate’s overall brand identity. My primary focus was reimagining and optimizing digital touchpoints, including the Rate website and mobile app, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for users.

As a company positioned at the forefront of the mortgage industry, Rate needed a refreshed identity to reflect its innovative approach and commitment to customer excellence. Key objectives included: ◦ Establishing a modernized, cohesive brand identity. ◦ Redesigning the website to prioritize user acquisition and retention. ◦ Creating a robust design system to ensure scalability and consistency.
